Forest Footsteps Teen Camp Programs

Forest Footsteps is dedicated to facilitating the growth of our campers. We offer unique teen camp programs that provide our older youth a special opportunity to make friends in a relaxed and fun-filled environment, to build self-esteem and independence while understanding what it is to be a part of a team. We understand teens are sometimes bored by a "normal" camp, so we provide age appropriate teen camp activities that will give teens new physical and creative challenges. We are proud to offer the following programs for our campers ages 13-17.

Earth Adventure

       

 

Earth Adventure is a 2 week environmental education and summer camp program all in one. In addition to our regular camp activities campers will accompany our experienced outdoor education staff on backpacking trips, kayak excursions, high and low ropes training courses, wilderness first aid, outdoor cooking, trail navigation and many other outdoor skills. Earth Adventure campers will get an opportunity to bond and learn from each other while taking part in team building and leadership courses.  Our Earth Adventure camp is sure to be an experience campers will talk about all year. Earth Advetnure is from July 15th - 27th. Space for this camp is very limited so please register early.

Campers name and age

Leader in Trainning (LIT)

Our Leader in Trainning course is desinged to teach campers ages 15-17 what is takes to be a camp leader.During this 2 week course Lits will receive lessons on leadership and attend classes on working with today’s youth. LIT week places a huge focus on self esteem and team building. After our LIT’s graduate they are invited back as volunteer staff for the remaining weeks of camp. LIT’s are eligible for paid camp positions after 2 summers of being an assistant leader. Our LIT program is from July 15th - 27th.
