Summer Camp

A classic summer camp with a focus on developing an understanding and appreciation for our natural environment. The 6-day residential program offers a variety of activities for campers to choose from. Campers will be divided into activity groups (based on age) and will rotate through several “core” activities, including nature hikes, beach exploration, team building, sports, and the arts. Campers also have the opportunity to choose various electives to “fill out” their week. Our electives are designed by talented counselor staff and change daily.

Earth Adventure

Earth Adventure is a 2 week environmental education and summer camp program all in one. In addition to our regular camp activities campers will accompany our experienced outdoor education staff on backpacking trip through Big Basin state park, a kayak excursions, high and low ropes training courses, wilderness first aid, outdoor cooking, trail navigation and many other outdoor skills. Earth Adventure campers will get an opportunity to bond and learn from each other while taking part in team building and leadership courses.  Our Earth Adventure camp is sure to be an experience campers will talk about all year. Space for this camp is very limited so please register early. Contact our camp director "The Dude" with any questions.

Leader in Trainning (LIT)

Forest Footsteps is dedicated to facilitating the growth of our campers. We are proud to offer a junior leadership program where campers ages 16-17 are welcome to spend a week learning what it takes to be a camp counselor. During this time they will receive lessons on leadership and attend classes on working with today’s camper. LIT week also places a huge focus on self esteem and team building. After our LIT’s (leaders in training) graduate at the end of the week they are invited back as volunteer staff for the remaining weeks of camp. LIT’s are eligible for paid camp positions after 2 summers of being an assistant leader.
