Our staff members have extensive training and teaching experience in environmental education and recreation. They have a passion for working with children in the outdoors and a commitment to creating an environment that is fun, safe, educational, and inclusive. Each director holds at least a bachelor's degree in a science related field and all staff members are certified in both first aid and CPR.
Our counselor staff supervise campers and are with them 24 hours a day. Counselors are at least 17 years of age and are selected from a pool of leaders that have worked at our environmental education programs. They receive extensive training in counseling, safety, and leadership skills. Forest Footsteps counselors are the best at providing campers with excellent role modeling and individual care.
